Setmaker, hailing from Clonakilty, are one of the finest bands to come out of West Cork and have established a steady following in Cork and indeed further afield in the past couple of years. The five-piece formed in secondary school,and within a year of existence reached the Blast:Beat final. The past twelve months has seen Setmaker record their debut EP "Are You Here For This?" which was launched in the new year it to full houses in both De Barra's, Clonakilty and Cork's premier venue Cyprus Avenue. Regular support slots with highly established acts (including Delorentos, Fred, Mundy, O Emperor, Peter Green (Fleetwood Mac)), along with dates in the UK and impressive performances on the main stage at Mitchelstown's Indiependence festival, LiveStock Cork and headlining the opening night of Cork Week in the past few months has cemented Setmaker's status as one of the most exciting young bands around.
