Shiftwork Music

SHIFTWORK are an alt-folk trio from Dublin, via Dundalk and the French Alps, who play strange, haunting, and delicate songs. Their duelling and harmonising vocals touch on important topics such as three day rollovers, semi-perilous late night cycling, and unrequited lust.

With over 10 years of experience playing on the Dublin music scene, Sue (Attention Bébé, Gardiner Street Gospel Choir, Chris Barry’s Boys) and Lucie (National Concert Hall Echo Band, Attention Bébé, Dowry, Rachel Lavelle, Riona Sally Hartman, Joniii) joined forces with singer-songwriter Finn to compose original music and explore the clash of folk, Irish, and classical choral traditions.

Listed in The Ticket as Best Smaller Act, Electric Picnic 2016 and in Nialler9 as a highlight of Galway Culture Night 2016, SHIFTWORK have been mesmerising and hypnotising crowds across the country before taking time out to write and finish their upcoming debut album burn the nightshade oil.
