Softdrink Millionaire

Going through a few line-up changes since their first gig in 2023, the project has evolved from the acoustic demos of singer/guitarist Josh Fortune, into a quartet that incorporates post-rock, folk, no-wave, poetry, country, noise rock, midwest emo and indie rock into their own singular sound.

Armed with Joe Dillon on guitar, Jack Lawlor on drums, and Thomas Earls on bass, the band have made their mark on the Irish music scene with their memorable lyricism, pedalboard trickery, unhinged performances, and relentless authenticity.

Despite only releasing music for the past year, Softdrink Millionaire have gotten the attention of RTÉ, Nialler9, District Magazine, GoldenPlec, Blowtorch Records and The Goo, with the magazine stating they "have cool and grit in equal amounts". They most recently packed out their sets at their Whelan's Ones to Watch slot.
