Tried and tested on the post-lockdown Dublin independent circuit, Soundstrand ended 2023 with the release of their homemade EP, ‘If You Hear This, Let Me Know’.

The band’s debut effort was described as ‘a kinetic EP that never lets up on the energy’. The opening two tracks, ‘Rollercoaster’ and ‘Man Made Boys’ garnered decent attention, being played on radio stations across both Ireland and the UK. This release saw a string of gigs come Soundstrand’s way, including a headliner in The Grand Social, and opening for Public Warning in Whelan’s Main Room.

Looking to 2024, the group are determined to up the energy, and shake the naivety. Debuting new music at their post-‘If You Hear This’ shows, coupled with the imminent release of 'American Radio', as teased on social media, shows the band's drive to move towards a maturing sound.
