Steve Whelan Band " a 5 piece High Energy rock/reggae/blues band from co cork with Award winning singer/songwriter Steve Whelan at the helm,and with Tony Kiely on Guitar ,Oliver Loughnan on drums and Warren tivy on bass the Steve & The Rhythm Smugglers has gone from strength to strength .
The band also guest musicians like Eanna dowling on keys and tom edwards on sax for different shows

The band have played at electric picnic,castleploza,rockanore ,cork jazz festival and the myrtle groove festivals in the last 2 years and have received some great feedback from the gigs,and have a tour of the south of France this september.
The Band are currently promoting a new cd Shadows become Faces which is due for release ,, soon
