Strange Fruit are a five piece band based in Waterford. Combining superb vocals with outstanding musicianship, they play a range of music from traditional, country, bluegrass and jazz genres. Their repertoire also covers many original compositions.
Paul Grant
Paul is highly regarded throughout Ireland and further afield for his accomplished musicianship and is a sought after guitar player who has played with numerous respected and successful artists like Tom Paxton and Donovan. For more than twenty years he toured both nationally and internationally with the late Liam Clancy , the last of the great troubadours. He also produced and played on many of Liam’s recordings.

Suzanne Rowe
Suzanne is also highly regarded throughout Ireland and further afield for her accomplished Accordion and Keyboard playing. She has played with numerous respected and successful artists including Louise Morrissey and Kathy Durkin. In 2000 she launched her debut album Mystery Tour to great acclaim and in October this year, released her second CD ‘Dream On’.

‘Cliodhna Lily’ Gahan.
Cliodhna Lily is one of Ireland’s brightest young singing stars. In her recently released solo CD ‘Elysium’, she combines stunning vocals with superb delivery to create a debut CD of real quality. A delicate blending of soulful singing and raw emotion, combine to make her a voice that simply must be heard.
Richie McDonald
Mention bass player Richie McDonald’s name and immediately people associate it with all that’s good in music. Richie has been the founding member and leading light of many of the top bands to come out of the south of Ireland. He played with the nationally acclaimed Soul Reason and also played both nationally and internationally with various traditional groups.

Gerry Madden
Mandolin player Gerry Madden is one of Ireland's quality musicians, a man much in demand whether he’s picking bluegrass or sitting in on traditional sessions. He has played with bluegrass outfits such as The Flint Hill boys at festivals in Ireland and the US. More recently he played mandolin with Bending the Strings and is due to release a solo CD, recorded and co-produced at VeeBee Studios by Moyra Fraser and the late Vinny Baker.
