Taylors Lane

Folk // Dublin

“They walked out from behind the famous red curtain and just got straight down to business – they
turned on the charm in a big way”, Unsigned and Independant Music Magazine, March 2014 after
Taylors Lane performed at The Ruby Sessions.

Irish indie-folk band Taylors Lane hit the ground running when they first emerged in 2013. Best known for their enchanting harmony lines and gripping melodies, the band's debut EP “Battle Scars” saw huge success. The title track featured on LA dance company Ellipse's video
“The Writings”, and the poignant “These Times” will be making an appearance on the second season of RTE's hit reality show “Fade Street”.

Taylors Lane are Jackie Hennessy (vocals/guitar/ukulele) Shane Hennessy (vocals/guitar/ukulele) and Derek Monaghan (bass/vocals).

Their balance of sweet folk harmonies and bluesy riffs went down a treat in 2014 securing
Taylors Lane slots at both Vantastival and Le Chéile Music Festival. Highlights of that year also include sharing the stage with John Blek and Lauren Shera at a Communion Records show upstairs in Whelans. A performance at Sofar Dublin's December show was a nice end to the year, and after a short break to record their second EP “All My Years”, Taylors Lane are back gigging and promoting their music as much as ever in anticipation of the records release in late summer.
