TEN OUNCE MOUSE

Ten Ounce Mouse are a 4-piece Indie Pop/Rock outfit from Wexford comprised of Jean-Luc Power (vocals), Brandon Murphy (guitar), Syzmon Dobrowolski (bass) and Michael O’Connor (drums).

Currently working on their debut album and relentlessly gigging around the country (Including recent appearances at the Wexford Spiegeltent, Audioshoot Festival and Waterford ArtBeat Festival), they are quickly making a name for themselves in the Irish independent music scene.

“Echoes”, their debut single release, is a bright, bubbly number that oozes passion and charm. With its driving rhythm, pulsating bass, and jangly guitar riffs, musically, the track has a thriving foundation and powerful atmosphere. The vocals bring forward a hint of traditional Irish camaraderie in the melody as the chorus powerfully boasts proud and warm sing-along vibes.

The track becomes heftier as the crescendo brings some alternative rock grit into the mix. However, the band rein this in with sublime harmonies and their joyous melodies. It’s an earnest, soul-nourishing track that’s sure to be stuck in your head and have you singing along in no time.
