thanks mom consists of Erica, Grace, Amelie and Cillian. They are a alternative indie rock band hailing from Co. Kildare, Ireland. Already listed as one of the Hottest Irish Artists to watch in 2024 by Hot Press!

thanks mom is an authentic garage band that are polishing their song writing skills through previous releases like “if you want me” and “lying on the floor”. "This is a song that comes with it, a universal experience as well as being quite personal. While this song is an ode to lost friendships and the growing pains that seem to follow you through late adolescence, we didn’t necessarily want to make it sad or depressing"

Their previous release “if you want me” has propelled “thanks mom” through the ranks of up and coming bands. With over 41k streams. Hot Press hailed it as being Hot for 2024 and Radio Nova 100 dubbed it as
“One of the 100 best Irish songs of 2023”

thanks mom are heavily influenced by artists/bands like The Breeders, Los Campesinos!, Car Seat Headrest, Big Thief, Wunderhorse and so many more. You’ll hear sprinklings of those influences in their new release "why don't u like me anymore?"

thanks Mom are currently working on more new material which will be released this coming October.

Press have said:
“"why don't u like me anymore?" is leading the charge of pure genius lyrics wrapped in the most mind bendingly wonderful anthemic soundscapes. thanks mom are by far and away ahead of most new artists coming through right now, Thank God for thanks mom!”
DERMOT LAMBERT - CEO Garageland/Blink,
RTE 2XM

“Searing grunge guitars and a “tight as a ducks arse” rhythm section provide the foundation for the infectious nonchalant vocals spouting relatable truisms, bringing 90s garage nostalgia to 2024. Catchy, frantic and fun, totally addictive!”
ROHAN HEALY, Beardfire Music

I was lucky to catch this very young Kildare four piece at Forest Fest in Eno, Co Laois a few weeks ago as their energy, exuberance and beyond-their-years song writing captivated a packed tent. The sound 15 guitar based indie pop a la Breeders and Elastica and in Erica Lee the band possess a frontwoman with a cool, laconic attitude that would give Justine Frischmann a run for her money any day.
The song is Classic punk pop, light and Catchy: an act to keep an eye on”
