The Dirty Blues Band

On the 20th April 2006 Kevin Sweeney and Mark McCausland decided to break out of jail. They needed the assistance of Kevin's beautiful but deadly sister Fionnuala for the jail break. She showed up with a crowbar and Muck McAleer, who was armed only with a fiddle. The getaway car was driven by the elusive Joe McGurgan who was also a maniac on the bow fiddle.The warden, crazy Colm Campbell was not too pleased to find Kevin and Mark's cell empty, apart from old strings and an underground tunnel. When crazy Campbell and his troops followed the tunnel, they were met with much dismay to find themselves in the top of the town in Omagh. Standing there in the middle of the dirtiest of drunken barndances, Campbell came face to face with his prisoners and their allies as they played the joyous music that had been keeping the crowd from tearing each other apart. On hearing the glorious music coming from this pack of wolves, he kept his troops from arresting the fiends and decided in that moment to change his name to Crazy Chester and pardon their crimes. From that day forth he travelled with the band with his trusty harmonica and they're still going strong today, probably playing in a town near you soon.
