The McGetigans

The McGetigans were found in a cabbage patch, given a summary education, baptized in Whiskey, slapped on the arse and sent forth to sing their filthy black guts out.

The band was started many moons ago by Kevin O'Brien and John Sweeney. It now has five full time members and a few less committal members which pass through from time to time. In May 2011 they released their debut single 'Son Love Your Neighbour' shortly followed by the EP 'The Missing Link'.

Their musical style varies from rock to folk to rockabilly to pop, but what most songs have in common is strong comedy vein.

They are certainly worth checking out!!
