The Orange Sound

The Orange Sound is an alternative / indie / rock act from Dublin, Ireland. It is the project of songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Steven Rice, who has performed as both a band member and solo artist extensively in Ireland and the UK, receiving radio airplay in both countries along the way. The Orange Sound's music has eclectic influences, ranging from the crunch of Queens of the Stone Age and Foo Fighters, the stark indie of The Cure, and the harmony and melody of Crosby, Stills and Nash - all blended into a modern, current sound. The songs are both catchy and poignant, appealing in equal measure to the angst-ridden introvert who yearns for a slice of real-life emotion, to the air-punching extrovert who simply wants to rock.

The Orange Sound is currently gigging and recording in Ireland, with plans to make it's debut release in the second half of 2011.
