The Reverse

Indie // Cork

The Reverse are an enigmatic indie folk/rock band, who are highly regarded as one of the most promising and prolific acts to emerge from the Irish music scene in recent years.

Since 2010, The Reverse have gigged extensively around Ireland and the UK, building a solid fan base and an ever-growing army of loyal fans and followers. In 2012, they singed a management deal, and have since been heavily booked for the festival circuit, have performed numerous guest support slots, played the Share A Dream concert in the RDS twice, released their debut single ‘Jack & Jill’ (which subsequently charted at No. 3 in the iTunes charts), have gained thousands of views on Youtube, and are about to release their brand new EP ‘The forty Steps’ in July, with the highly anticipated lead single ‘I Think I Do’.

They also sang on the charity single Tiny Dancer (which reached No. 1 in the Irish charts), along with a string of other Irish artists including Paddy Casey, Mary Black, Declan O’Rourke, John Spillane, Mundy, The Riptide Movement, and lots more. They also performed this single live on the Late Late Show on RTE1.

The Reverse are definitely a band to watch out for in 2014, as this popular band quickly garners more and more attention both at home and abroad.

“There are few better ways to start off your Sunday afternoon at Indiependence Festival 2013 than with The Reverse. The Cork natives are an indie folk/rock outfit with skilfully written lyrics and great tunes. Expect it to range from acoustics and harmonicas to sheer bluesy guitar greatness.” – Laur Ryan (Dublin Concerts)
