The Well Dressed Hobos

The Well Dressed Hobos are an alternative rock band based in Co Sligo, Ireland. They incorporate several genres, rock blues and reggae fused with social activism. A common theme throughout their music is the message of peace, freedom, social change and a move towards a more sustainable alternative lifestyle. They try to encourage people to strive for something better and in these turbulent times when the business as usual mindset no longer works. The Well Dressed Hobos music can give you something that we all can relate too.
The group was formed when Danny Thompson met Dean Mcdermott a few years back and started working on music for Danny’s songs. They began jamming and played with a few different musicians but nothing took hold. They recorded a six track self titled EP just before meeting Eoghan Mcdermott (drums) and Otter Cooper (bass) in 2016 and things started to come together nicely as the group toured the EP and started writing together. The addition of Peadair Murphy on the saxophone in late 2017 completed the line up giving the band the final element needed to create their unique original sound.
2018 looks to be an exciting year with a new EP on the way.
