Martello

Martello is a 23y/o Irish artist crafting a unique blend of acoustic-driven and ambient music, drawing inspiration from artists like RY X, Novo Amor, Talos and James Vincent McMorrow to name but a few. With a sound that weaves falsetto vocals, lush soundscapes, and intricate guitar work, Martello’s music creates an intimate yet cinematic experience.

Beginning his journey as a solo performer, Martello’s live shows are an experience, where atmospheric elements enhance raw, heartfelt performances. With his debut release in February 2025, Martello is carving out a space where folk, electronica, and indie collide. He is planning on releasing a number of singles in his freshman year and so, building upon his last live outing at the ruby sessions in 2024.

From singing on his own at the age of 13 in Carnegie Hall as part of the Palestrina choir, to headlining the Colaiste Lurgan stage in 2019, Chris O'Shea has a lot of experience performing under his belt and he is eagerly waiting to leave his own mark on the global music stage performing under the moniker of 'Martello'.
