Tit Modern

Tit Modern are the Thomastown Co.Kilkenny based vehicle for the songs of Lancaster born songstress Liz Aspden. Her heartfelt and passionate songwriting veers from raunchy and comedic to vulnerable and delicate while never loosing touch with her delicately tuned songwriting sensibilities that always lend an air of easy listenability. The band has been rehearsing for the last year in the musicaly inclined surrounds of Thomastown in preparation for the recording of this, the debut album and release. The band itself features members of the much loved 'Nathan Conway and the River Valley band' and the aforementioned Mr. Conway plays guitar and helps with the arranging of the songs along with local style icon Grum Gallagher who plays guitar with Gerry Fish . Always popular with the live crowds in Kilkenny Liz says of her newly adapted home that "People around here appreciate a good song and can shut up and listen."
