Liz with her Lancastrian whit has been crafting dry anti-pop songs about desperation, dispair, love, lust, heartbreak and hangovers for several years. In her teens she was a vocalist for seasoned jazz heads The Swamp Dogs in Lancashire then fled to London via Australia learning the guitar as she went. Here she played with hillbillies that were The Mysterious Benefactors and Japanese psy-pop outfit Holiday Romance. It was while on the small gig circuit in East London where the musical connection with Rory Grubb hit a mutual chord.
