VOKXEN draw influences on Irish folklore, pop music, feminism & cult film. New Single Sanctuary is out 11.10.21. A breath of fresh ‘Eire’, this celtic-infused, dark electronic-pop single is based on the NI folk story of The Witches Stone. Bathed in atmospheric soundscapes, emotive vocals, harp riffs & earthy drums, the track rises & swells - just like the sea by the mystical coastline of Islandmagee Co.Antrim, on which the song is based.

'As seen on' BBC 2, (TV Series, I Lár an Aonaigh, December 18’) VOKXEN were a former ‘Scratch’ Act (2016) with Oh Yeah Music Centre & have since performed at top NI festivals and showcases such as Output Belfast, Stendhal Festival & ‘Women’s Work’ festival as well as shows further afield in vibrant music cities such as London and Berlin.
