Zero Era

Zero Era are a 3 piece rock band hailing from Galway City.

Forming in late 2012 the group have supported various acclaimed acts since, such as 65daysofstatic, The Cast of Cheers, Not Squares, Texas and Kid Karate. They've played at various venues across the country including the Westport Festival 2014. In 2013 the band won the Roisin Dubh Battle of the Bands, a competition taking place over 6 months and including bands from across the country.

The first release from the trio came in November 2013 in the form of a three-track E.P. entitled 'The Moderate Excess'. Returning to the studio in March of this year Zero Era have released the first of their double sided singles entitled {​/​\​ll the /​\​/​\​ind's Tricks} which is available for stream and download here:

The second single "Stiff Upper Lip" is due to be released in August.

The band's style is influenced by a variety of different genres and manifests itself in a rock-funk-math-alt type hybrid.
